With the Spring Festival around the corner, to further implement the notices and overall requirements of the Office of Shanghai Municipal Work Safety Commission and the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC) for safety work, engineering safety rectification and epidemic control during the festival, from February 4 to 9, Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG; Wu Jun, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission; Ma Haiyan, Chairwoman of the Labor Union of SIG; and other leaders of SIG led teams to SIG Building, as well as key projects in progress in SIG for pre-festival safety checks. At SIG Building, SIG's leaders checked the monitoring area, the equipment room and other key areas, and listened to the report of the management staff on duty attendance and the implementation of epidemic control measures; on the site of the project in progress at Shanghai International Fortune Center, they conducted spot checks of well-decorated show houses, and listened to the report of the project leader on the safety management, fire control and epidemic control of the project, as well as safety assurance during the festival; on the site of the renovation project of SIG Building, SIG's leaders inspected the construction of façade stone curtain walls and floors, and listened to the report of the general contractor on the progress, quality and safe and civilized construction of the project. SIG's leaders spoke highly of the quality, progress, work safety and epidemic control of the key projects in progress, raising four requirements for pre-festival safety assurance. First, the project teams should ensure the fulfillment of the primary responsibility of work safety, intensify supervisory checks and tighten detail control; Second, the project teams should made patrols and identify potential safety hazards during the festival; Third, the project teams should organize training and technical disclosure before resuming the projects in progress, to ensure that the projects are accepted with quality and quantity assured and go into operation as scheduled. Fourth, the project teams should persist in epidemic control, and further enhance employees' awareness of epidemic control, to ensure a joyful, safe and auspicious Spring Festival. Present were the staff of the Department of Administration of SIG, the Construction Management Office of SIG Building Reconstruction Project, the project of Shanghai International Fortune Center, the property department of SIG Building and relevant entities.
