The 2020 Shanghai Model Worker (Advanced Worker) and Shanghai Model Collective Commendation Conference took place on the afternoon of December 2. Shanghai's municipal leaders, including Li Qiang, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Gong Zheng, Mayor of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, presented certificates of honor to the collectives and individuals honored as Shanghai Model Worker (Advanced Worker) and Model Collective. The AMC team of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SSAM), a subsidiary of SIG, was honored as Shanghai Model Collective.

The AMC team of SSAM has taken upon itself to serve the building of Shanghai International Financial Center, and played its role in stabilizing local economy and finance. The team has disposed non-performing assets of over 10 billion yuan since its founding, shown its significant role in maintaining regional financial stability, prevention and controlling financial risks as a local state-owned AMC, and become a "leader" in the reform and development of Shanghai's state-owned assets system and financial industry.

Shanghai's model workers and collectives are selected every five year. Winning the honor shows the diligent, honest and creative work of SIG employees. Guided by Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, SIG's executives and employees will comprehensively implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, as well as the spirit of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee. With focus on the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, under the strong leadership of the CPC SIG Committee, they have gone all out to promote the reform, innovation and development of SIG, shouldered responsibility, made innovation, pursued excellence, vigorously promoted the spirit of model workers, laborers and craftsmen, aroused innovative and creative vitality, made extraordinary achievements on ordinary posts, and written a song of worker in the new era.
