The CPC SIG Committee held an enlarged meeting on the afternoon of November 2, to convey and learn the spirit of the 5th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the Municipal Party Member and Cadre Conference.

Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, noted that the SIG should fully understand the significance of the 5th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. The session opened up a new journey for building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. The Proposal of the CPC Central Committee on Formulating the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Vision for 2035 adopted at the session, which is the strategic arrangement for achieving the 2nd centenary goal, is of far-reaching significance. He required that the SIG should learn and implement the spirit of the session, understand the vision of basically realizing socialist modernization by 2035, as well as China's development idea, orientation and concept in the "fourteenth five-year" period, and improve the practical effects of learning and implementing the spirit of the session. SIG's leading body, departments and subsidiaries should think initiatively and plan seriously, implement the spirit in concrete work, fulfill annual tasks and plan for the next year.

Liu Xinyi, Deputy Secretary of CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG, conveyed the spirit of the Municipal Party Member and Cadre Conference, as well as the requirements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee for conveying the spirit of the 5th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

Present were members of the CPC SIG Committee, the Chairman and Chief Operation Officer of the Board of Supervisors of SIG, as well as heads of SIG's departments and subsidiaries.
