SIG's Leaders Visit SIG Building Constructors Against Heat

Shanghai has issued orange-coded heat alerts consecutively with the constant rise in temperature. To ensure the project of SIG Building progressed as scheduled, the constructors have stuck to posts and taken great pains. On the morning of August 17, Liu Xinyi, President of SIG; Guan Wei, Vice President of SIG and Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee headed for the construction site. Accompanied by Chen Xin, Chairman of Shanghai Construction No.2 (Group) Co., Ltd., they inspected the safety of the reconstruction project, extended cordial greetings to the frontline workers and delivered anti-heatstroke supplies.

After listening to the general contractor's introduction to the project progress and the supervisor's report on the construction site, Liu expressed thanks for all the constructors' painstaking efforts on behalf of SIG, and spoke highly of construction site management and its progress.

At last, Liu stressed that the constructors should hold fast to the safety bottom line, and pay attention to heatstroke prevention and labor protection; should advance key and difficult work in an orderly manner; should work as scheduled, ensure engineering quality, tighten cost control and work collaboratively to successfully complete the reconstruction project.

Present were heads of the general contractor, the construction supervisor, the designer, the management consulting company, investment supervisor and the project construction management office.
