To carry out "four histories" learning and education in depth, and listen to the voice of SIG's League members and young employees, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Shanghai International Group (SIG) held a League member and youth representative seminar. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, was present. Wu Jun, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of SIG and Member of the CPC SIG Committee, hosted the seminar.
Yu gave a Party class to League members and youth representatives. From the significance of "four histories" education, with focus on Shanghai's spirit of "innovation, toughness and operability" in reform, he told of major events he has experienced to bring the League members back to the soul-stirring years of Shanghai's reform and opening-up. The SIG Party Member Congress clarified SIG's orientation and direction for the coming five years, he said, requiring that the SIG system should, on the basis of serving major municipal strategies, according to the main responsibility and primary business determined by the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC), seize opportunities, ride on the momentum, forge ahead against hardships, and pool strengths by strengthening Party discipline, to build SIG into a China’s top financial holding group and state-owned capital investment operation platform with international vision and visibility. Referring to "four histories" education, he stressed that League members should apply what they have learned, encouraging them to be passionate, creative and responsible, and grow into the nucleus of SIG's reform and development.
With focus on "four histories" learning, based on their work experience, SIG's League members and youth representatives delivered speeches on strengthening financial holding group building, improving investment management level, perfecting the risk control system and intensifying talent team building.
