To strengthen ideal and belief education to new Party members in the SIG system, firmly establish the awareness of Party members and enhance their Party spirit, on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, SIG held an oath taking ceremony for new Party members at the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Led by Chen Zhenpeng, Member of the CPC SIG Committee, Director of the Organization Department of the CPC SIG Committee and General Manager of the Department of Human Resources, hosted the ceremony. Led by Chen, SIG's new Party members took an oath.

Before the bright red Party flag, the Party members wearing Party badges raised their right fists and took a solemn oath, "I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party's program, abide by the Party's constitution…" They expressed their determination to be loyal to Party forever and struggle for the Communist cause for the rest of their lives. The Party members also visited the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, to review the Party's glorious history and reflect on the ideal and mission of Communists.

Active applicants for Party membership in the SIG system were invited to the ceremony. The event offered all the new Party members and active applicants present profound Party spirit education to further firm up their belief in following the Party. They pledged to bear the Party's aim in mind, keep up high spirits, perform their duties based on their posts, give full play to their vanguard and exemplary role, and make due contributions to the high-quality of SIG.
