This June marks the 19th National Work Safety Month. SIG has seriously implemented the requirements of work safety, and organized an activity themed "Eliminating potential safety hazards, building a solid defensive line", to enhance safety awareness and create a favorable atmosphere. The activity achieved good results.
Firstly, broaden ways of publicity through online interaction. SIG has offered several work safety training sessions, including the session of safety accident case analysis, and organized an online work safety quiz with a pass rate of 100 percent. Through publicity and training, the safety awareness and safety control level of SIG's executives and employees have been further improved.
Secondly, implement key work offline. In June when the flood season has come, SIG has seriously implemented "three-prevention management" and comprehensively strengthened work safety prevention. Given the fact that rainfalls are abundant this year, SIG has worked out an emergency plan for flood and typhoon prevention, organized special emergency drills to improve its ability to cope with severe weather such as typhoon and rainstorm, continued to advance safety checkpoints, re-checked, re-maintained and re-supplemented fire and flood prevention supplies, to ensure that all safety facilities are in good conditions.
Lastly, conduct safety checks by integrating selected and entire areas. The teams led by SIG's leaders have conducted safety checks of SIG's departments before the Dragon Boat Festival, with emphasis on fire equipment, evacuation routes and elevator power rooms; SIG's subsidiaries have conducted self-checks in light of actualities and duly corrected potential risks found to eliminate potential safety hazards.
The activity further deepened the concept of safe development among SIG's executives and employees, effectively created an atmosphere of "safety for all", and played a positive role in furthering SIG's safety work.
