SIG held the Celebratory Conference of the 99th Anniversary of CPC Founding & Commendation Conference on the morning of June 29, to commend outstanding Party members, outstanding Party workers and advanced grass-roots Party organizations of the SIG system from 2018 to 2019. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered a speech. Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG, hosted the conference. Present were SIG's leaders, the chairman of the Board of Supervisors of SIG, executives of the CPC SIG Committee above the assistant level, secretaries of grass-roots Party organizations, as well as winners of the titles of "outstanding Party worker, outstanding Party member and advanced grass-roots Party organization", Party members at SIG's headquarters and representatives of active applicants for Party membership.

Wu Jun, Member of the CPC SIG Committee, Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commissioner, read the Decision of the CPC SIG Committee on Commending Outstanding Party Members, Outstanding Party Workers and Advanced Grass-roots Party Organizations in the SIG System from 2018 to 2019, awarding the title of "outstanding Party member" to 25 individuals including Zhu Guangrong, the title of "outstanding Party worker" to 9 individuals including Zhu Long and the title of "Advanced grass-roots Party organization" to 5 grass-roots Party organizations including the Third Party Branch of SIG's headquarters.

At the conference, the representatives of outstanding Party members, including Xu Cheng from Guoxin Investment, Ni Hongqin from Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake and Tian Huafeng from GP Hi-Tech Capital; the representatives of outstanding Party workers, including Xia Qiongwen from SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Zhao Yaxi from Sailing Capital; as well as the representative of an advanced grass-roots Party organization-Wang Tayu, Secretary of the Third Party Branch of SIG's headquarters delivered speeches.

On behalf of the CPC SIG Committee, Yu extended congratulations to the winners, extended holiday greetings and paid high respect to all Party members sticking to their posts in the SIG system. The winners have kept in mind the mission of Party members, and displayed the fortress role of Party branches and the exemplary and vanguard role of Party members with firm beliefs, in high spirits and by outstanding business performance. They have set good examples to SIG's Party organizations at all levels and Party members. In recent years, with the concerted efforts of all Party members, executives and employees, SIG has advanced steadily and over-fulfilled the target of the three action plan (2017-2019). Amid the Covid-19 outbreak this year, SIG's Party organizations at all levels and Party members have resumed work and production while conducting epidemic prevention and control, showing their spirit of forging ahead without fearing hardships.

Yu raised three requirements for strengthening the Party building, reform and innovation of SIG: firstly, further enhancing the subject responsibility of grass-roots Party organizations; secondly, further giving play to the fortress role of Party branches; lastly, further motivating Party members and executives to take on responsibility and perform their mission by actual action.

This year and the next are critical years when Shanghai will basically develop into four centers and comprehensively advance three new major tasks, as well as the opening year for SIG's three-year action plan for new-round strategic development. SIG's Party organizations at all levels and all Party members should rally closely around the CPC Central Committee led by General Secretary Xi Jinping, keep opening new work prospects with the spirit of racing against time, make new contributions to achieving the 1st centenary goal and work hard for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the great CPC.
