The SIG 2020 Internal Audit Work Meeting took place at Meeting Room 715, SIG Building on June 18. Guan Wei, Vice President of SIG, hosted the meeting. Leaders in charge of audit and heads of audit from SIG's subsidiaries were present.
The meeting first conveyed General Secretary Xi Jinping's instruction on national audit work and the focuses of the audit work of the enterprises supervised by the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission in 2020. Then the subsidiaries reported their audit work in 2019 and work focuses in 2020, and exchanged ideas on the current situation of SIG's audit work, the audit content of key projects, future trend and talent team building.
At last, Guan required that all the subsidiaries should further understand the importance of audit work, stay true to their mission, conduct legal auditing, improve systems and mechanisms, and make greater contributions to the development of the corporate governance system; should strengthen internal audit institution building and staffing, establish relatively independent internal audit institutions, report work to their boards of directors, and optimize rules of performance assessment for internal audit institutions and staff to protect their work enthusiasm; and should strengthen professional training for auditors, focus on improving auditors' comprehensive quality and professional competence with the goal of improving their business capacity, and require that auditors must conduct auditing in a scientific, civilized, incorruptible, objective and fair way.
