On July 28, Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG received a delegation led by Wang Weiren, Secretary of the CPC Changning District Committee; Wang Lan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Changning District Committee and Head of Changning District; and Zhong Xiaomin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changning District Committee and Deputy Head of Changning District. Zhou Lei, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of SIG; and Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairwoman of the Labor Union of SIG were present.

Yu introduced SIG's work in such aspects as state-owned capital operation, investment management, the pilot building of financial holding groups and industrial funds. He hoped SIG would leverage the advantage of its investment and industrial fund sectors, to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Changning in fields such as AI and fintech.

Wang introduced Changning's economic and social development, as well as its fintech industry development and support policies. He hoped Changning would strengthen cooperation and exchanges with SIG in emerging industry development and agglomeration, to create regional industrial features.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation visited SIG's Exhibition Marking the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up. Relevant staff of the General Office of the CPC Changning District Committee, the General Office of the Changning District People's Government, the Changning Science and Technology Commission, the Changning Investment Promotion Office (Changning Financial Services Office), as well as the Department of Investment Management I, the Department of Investment Management II and the Department of Strategic Development of SIG attended the meeting.
