According to the feedback of the inspection group of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the rectification requirements of the CPC SIG Committee and the detailed measures of the Labor Union of SIG for implementing the rectification requirements, to understand the policies of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions (SFTU) for grass-roots labor union budget management, and strengthen labor union budget management and supervision. On the afternoon of May 12, the Labor Union of SIG invited Xu Dongmei, Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Assets Management, SFTU to train executives from labor unions in the SIG system. Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairwoman of the Labor Union, attended the training. Among over 30 attendees were chairmen of labor unions, labor union budget auditors and financial staff from 13 subsidiaries of SIG.
Xu gave a full interpretation of SFTU's major policy and system documents including the Implementation Measures for Budget Management of Grass-roots Labor Unions, made a detailed analysis of key and hard problems arising in the budget audit of grass-roots labor unions, and analyzed cases of violations. In the Q&A session, she answered questions about practical operation from grass-roots labor unions in a simple and targeted way.
The meeting required that SIG's grass-roots labor union executives should comply with the rules and regulations of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, SFTU and superior competent authorities, observe financial and economic discipline, strictly standardize the financial management of labor unions and firmly eliminate the occurrence of violations. Based on multi-level channels such as SFTU, the Shanghai Municipal Financial Labor Union and the SIG system, SIG will intensify business education and training, comprehensively improve the ability of labor union executives to perform duties, practically ensure that labor union assets are focused on SIG's overall reform and development, and better serve central tasks, the grass-roots companies and employees.
