On the morning of April 24, Zhou Lei, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of SIG, received a delegation led by Cheng Baoguo, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Shanghai Office of Hubei Province. Zhong Maojun, Chief Operation Officer of SIG, was present.

Cheng introduced the progress in Hubei's recent fight against Covid-19, and expressed gratitude to Shanghai and the rest of the country for their strong support to Hubei. Hubei, especially Wuhan, has achieved a staged victory in epidemic prevention and control, he said, adding that Hubei would go all out to advance work, production and market resumption to promote the all-round development of Hubei's economy and society.

Zhou warmly welcomed the delegation, and briefly introduced SIG's development history, business portfolios and strategic focuses. Over the years, SIG has maintained good communication and relations with relevant enterprises in Hubei, and SIG's investment sector and industrial funds have supported a lot of outstanding projects in Hubei. He hoped that SIG would play a greater role in cementing Shanghai-Hubei economic and social cooperation and exchanges in the future.
