The 2019 Review Meeting on Performance of Secretaries of CPC Committees (General Branches) of SIG's Subsidiaries took place on the morning of March 2. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, hosted the meeting. Present were Wu Jun, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission; Ma Haiyan and Chen Zhenpeng, Member of the CPC SIG Committee; secretaries and deputy secretaries of CPC committees (Party branches), heads of discipline inspection organizations, as well as heads of the CPC Office and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office of SIG, as well as representatives from the grass-roots level.

Zhou Lei, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd.; Deng Weili, Secretary of the CPC Committee of SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Chen Zhigang, Secretary of the CPC General Branch of Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. reported their work performance with focus on duty performance in grass-roots Party building, the existing problems and cause, as well as the next-step work plans. Yu and Wu spoke highly of their performance in grass-roots Party building over the year, pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies of CPC committees (general branches) of SIG's subsidiaries based on the feedback of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee in the inspection tour, and indicated their next-step direction.

Yu required that CPC committees (general branches) of SIG's subsidiaries should further strengthen grass-roots Party building. Concretely, they should enhance political stance and persistently strengthen the political building of the Party; should strengthen Party governance and comprehensively implement the work of tour inspection and correction; should bolster the foundation, seek actual effects and comprehensively improve the quality and level of grass-roots Party building; and should strengthen organizational leadership, advance epidemic prevention and control and reform and development in a coordinated manner, and fulfill annual tasks.

At the meeting, the attendees conducted a democratic appraisal of the performance of Zhou, Deng and Chen in grass-roots Party building in 2019.
