SIG Organizes Collective Study of Center Group on Work Safety

To comprehensively implement the requirements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and SHASAC for strengthening work safety, further enhance the awareness of work safety and implement the system of work safety responsibility, Shanghai International Group (SIG) organized a collective study of center group on work safety on the morning of October 17, inviting Hua Keqin, Deputy Director General of the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, to give a lecture entitled "Enhance political stance to be a pioneer in responsibility performance, pursue excellence to be a pacesetter in enterprise safety". Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, hosted the lecture. Among over 70 attendees were SIG's Party leaders, executives of the CPC SIG Committee and all Party members of SIG.

With focus on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statement on work safety, the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council for work safety, as well as the content of fully realizing the significance of performing the major responsibility for work safety, based on his rich practical experiences and valuable management experience in fields such as major risk prevention, emergency response and work safety supervision, he gave in-depth and vivid work safety education to the attendees, to further enhance their sense of responsibility for work safety.

Yu stressed that work safety is the lifeline of the enterprise, as well as important work that all leaders and executives must attach great importance to and persist in. All executives and employees of SIG should heighten their political stance, deepen safety awareness, establish and improve the emergency plan system, further strengthen learning and training, and improve the capability and level of solving prominent problems of work safety, to constantly promote the in-depth development of SIG's safety work.

Following the collective study, the Party leaders and executives of SIG and its subsidiaries exchanged their learning experience and next-step work measures.
