According to the notice on defending against super typhoon "Lekima" jointly released by the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Shanghai Municipal Flood Control Headquarters, the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC), the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission and other departments, SIG convened a Party committee meeting to convey the spirit of the work conference of SHSASAC and arrange work for defending against "Lekima" on the morning of August 9.
Immediately after the meeting, SIG organized a special meeting on defending against typhoon "Lekima", requiring that SIG's relevant departments and subsidiaries should study the current situation, pay close attention to typhoon movements, strictly implement the work arrangement of competent authorities, make full preparation according to SHSASAC's work requirements for flood and typhoon prevention, and implement the 24-hour on-duty system, the "leader in charge" system and the "leader in place" system in strict accordance with the forecasting and warning information and work orders sent by relevant municipal departments and SHSASAC, to ensure full safety.
Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Fu Fan, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG; Guan Wei, Chief Finance Officer of SIG; Ma Haiyan, Chairwoman of the Labor Union and Director of Office; and other leaders of SIG led teams to key areas and office buildings of SIG's subsidiaries, to inspect equipment, facilities and materials for typhoon and flood prevention. They required that relevant entities should implement defensive measures, to ensure there are no dead zones and blind areas for typhoon and flood prevention.
