The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 4th SIG Staff Representatives Congress took place on August 9. Fu Fan, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG; and Guan Wei, Chief Finance Officer of SIG attended the meeting. Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairwoman of the Labor Union of SIG, hosted the meeting. 35 staff representatives from SIG's headquarters and subsidiaries attended the meeting. Also present were SIG's collective consultation representatives.
The meeting listened to the Report on Co-opting Representatives of the 4th Staff Representatives Congress of Shanghai International Group Co., Ltd. and the Report on the Collective Consultation of Shanghai International Group Co., Ltd. in 2019.
Fu made a presentation on the core concept system of SIG's corporate culture. The meeting called for promoting and innovating SIG's corporate culture with focus on its primary business: state-owned capital operation and financial investment, based on SIG's functional orientation, to effectively enhance SIG's soft power, and provide solid cultural support and political and ideological guarantee for the reform, innovation and development of SIG.
The meeting stressed that the SIG Staff Representatives Congress should, under the leadership of the CPC SIG Committee, implement Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, focus on SIG's central task of reform and development, deepen democratic management under the corporate governance structure, and legally safeguard staff's rights and interests. Firstly, the congress should build a solid foundation for belief, maintain strategic focus and pool the strength of staff to forge ahead; secondly, the congress should stick to the primary business and responsibility, improve democratic management, focus on the central task and serve the overall interest; thirdly, the congress should pass warmth to staff to build a pattern of co-building and sharing for SIG. Staff representatives should always bear their mission in mind, practically enhance their political, representative and innovation awareness, perform their duties, make innovation, forge ahead, and lead staff in making new greater contributions to opening a new page for the reform, innovation and development of SIG.
