According to the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the unified arrangement of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shanghai International Group (SIG) has made a good start and conducted early deployment, worked out a detailed implementation plan, focused on building learning fronts and made elaborate preparation, to lay a solid foundation for carrying out education themed "Staying true to the mission".
Conduct early mobilization, set an example. The CPC SIG Committee has attached great importance to thematic education and organized a thematic education mobilization conference on June 6. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, conducted mobilization and deployment, requiring that all staff should fully recognize the great significance of thematic education to achieve actual effects. SIG's leaders seriously learned the spirit of the Outline of Learning Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Selected Important Statements of Xi Jinping on "Staying True to the Mission" and General Secretary Xi Jinping's recent important speeches, and organized a group discussion. On June 6, SIG's leaders visited "Glory of the City-Exhibition Marking the 70th Anniversary of Shanghai's Liberation" to receive revolutionary traditional education. On June 12, SIG organized the Seminar of the CPC Center Group, at which the attendees shared their experience of learning the Outline of Learning Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. On June 19, SIG invited Guo Qingsong, Vice President of the Party School of Shanghai Committee of C.P.C to deliver a lecture on how to learn Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and communicate with SIG's cadres and staff.
Build fronts, promote learning. SIG has established a leading group office of thematic education, worked out the implementation plan, work arrangement and learning schedule for thematic education, and motivated Party members to stay true to the mission, seek gaps and implement work through learning and education, investigations and studies, problem reviews and rectification. The leading group office has duly compiled learning and reference materials for thematic education, issued them to SIG's leaders, Party members and cadres, opened a column on the intranet of SIG to publish learning and reference materials and trends, and released guiding opinions to grass-roots Party branches. Through building online and offline learning fronts, and offering effective guidance on the learning and education of grass-roots Party branches, SIG has helped Party members and cadres learn from origin and stay true to the mission. As required by SIG, SIG's subsidiaries have worked out the implementation plan for thematic education, and organized leaders for learning and education, investigations and studies.
Establish Party spirit, stay true to the mission. SIG and its subsidiaries have carried out training with focus on strengthening Party spirit education to Party members and cadres, to lay a solid ideological foundation for thematic education. SIG has organized two sessions of "Party spirit education training for young cadres" at the Party schools, with the participation of 80 Party members and cadres. Through collective learning, visits to revolutionary education bases, discussions, writing and mutual evaluation of Party spirit reports, the trainees further fortified their conviction and improved their political quality. SIG organized the "Training on Learning the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech during His Visit to Shanghai", to interpret the tasks of establishing a new area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, implementing the strategy of Yangtze River Delta integration and setting up the Science & Technology Innovation Board, and help Party members and cadres grasp General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instruction in this field. Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SSAM) under SIG organized all its Party members to learn the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee on Strengthening the Political Building of the Party, and opened a red reading column in "ZJZ" Study; SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SIGAM) under SIG has promoted the normalization of the activity of learning and implementing Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era through an online quiz per month.
Conduct extensive surveys, seek development. Based on central business work, with focus on addressing practical problems, SIG has conducted elaborate deployment and surveys, and formed a general survey pattern of "one center, four surveys, multiple measures": fulfilling the three major tasks assigned to China by General Secretary Xi Jinping, conducting surveys on the development planning and functional positioning, risk prevention and internal management, Party building and talent team building, corporate culture building and mass cohesion enhancement. SIG's leaders have settled down to find out the situation of SIG and its subsidiaries, grasp actual situation, and come up with practical and effective measures to solve problems. In light of respective actualities and prominent problems, leaders of SIG's subsidiaries have made clear survey subjects, worked out survey plans and extensively solicited opinions.
Strengthen the grass-roots level, develop features. SIG has integrated thematic education with grass-roots Party building, steadily deployed the general selection of members of grass-roots Party organizations, organized training, selected competent cadres and strengthened the leading body, and practically enhanced the vitality of grass-roots leading bodies and Party branches. SSAM's "Party Branches on Business Lines" and SIGAM's "Party Building Integration" were listed among the top 100 state-owned enterprise Party building brands of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The Party building promotion video-"Positive Outlook" shot by SIG reviewed SIG's achievements in Party building in recent years. The CYL SIG Committee organized youth activities marking the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, to motivate youths to stay true to their mission and continue to make new achievements in the new era. Under the unified deployment of the CPC SIG Committee, based on its characteristics, SIG's subsidiaries have explored thematic education in respective ways: SSAM made a pocket book, organized seminars on advanced models, and organically integrated thematic education with "double-hundred" Party co-building and the "Sail" volunteer activity. SIGAM has given play to the radiating effects of "Yueduhui", "Rongzhihui" and other learning and growth platforms, to learn, publicize and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech in Shanghai.
At the next stage, SIG will continue to advance education themed "Staying true to the mission", properly arrange work for thematic education, and strengthen guidance on the learning and education work of SIG's subsidiaries, to ensure that thematic education achieves results and actual effects.
