This year marks the 100th anniversary of the "May Fourth Movement". To promote the spirit of the "May Fourth Movement" and embark upon a new journey, on April 30, the CYL SIG Committee organized grass-roots Youth League branches to watch the 100th Anniversary Conference of May Fourth Movement live and learn General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the conference. Xi affectionately hoped that Chinese young people should be concerned about and love the country and people, broaden their knowledge and develop characters in studies, and improve abilities in work.
The young League members of SIG said that they would forge ahead and pursue their ideals under the guidance of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, to contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Following the conference, SIG's Youth League organizations at all levels will organize various learning and education activities such as centralized learning, symposiums and workshops, to set off a fever of learning, publicizing and implementing the spirit of the conference.
