On the afternoon of December 4, led by Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Fu Fan, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG; and other senior executives of SIG visited the headquarters of Shanghai United Media Group (SUMG) for united Party committee center group learning with Qiu Xin, Secretary of the CPC SUMG Committee and President of SUMG; Chen Qiwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC SUMG Committee, General Manager and Vice President of SUMG; and other members of the CPC SUMG Committee.
The two sides exchanged ideas on implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's keynote speech at the First China International Import Expo and his important speech during his visit to Shanghai, and fulfilling the Party's publicity and ideological work in the new situation. With focus on the three new major tasks assigned by the Party Central Committee to Shanghai, they undertook to learn from each other and complement each other's advantage, constantly improve their service capacity and competitive edge in respective fields, carry out multi-level exchanges and cooperation in grass-roots Party building, business operations and other fields, promote development mutually, and play a greater role in serving the major development strategies of the country and Shanghai.
Prior to the meeting, the SIG delegation visited Jiefang Daily Office and the integrated media exhibition zone of SUMG.
