On the afternoon of June 20, Shanghai International Group (SIG) invited Prof. Liu Songshan, Doctoral Tutor at East China University of Political Science and Law, Vice President of the China Society of Legislative Science and President of the Shanghai Society of Legislative Science, to give a lecture on "major issues of the Constitution and constitution revision". Present were members of CPC SIG Committee and the executives, cadres above the level of assistant head, secretaries of Party (general) branches and all staff of the headquarters.

From the revision of the Constitution since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 2018, he delivered an instructive lecture with a distinctive theme on the role of the Constitution, the background of constitution revision, constitution revision and other major issues. The lecture is of great instructive significance to enhancing the awareness of constitution, promoting the spirit of rule of law and safeguarding the authority of the Constitution.

Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors raised three requirements for systematically learning, publicizing and implementing the Constitution. He required that SIG's Party organizations, members and cadres at all levels should enhance political stance and fully recognize the great significance of constitution revision; should further strengthen the initiative in learning the Constitution, integrate learning, publicizing and implementing the Constitution with learning and implementing Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, to deepen their understanding of the Constitution; should consciously venerate the Constitution, transform learning outcomes into the concrete measures and actual results of duty performance, and give full play to the role of SIG in Shanghai's SOA and SOE reform.
