On the afternoon of March 30, the 2018 Party Conduct Construction Cadre Conference of Shanghai International Group (SIG) was held. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors presided over the conference. Among them 70 attendees were Party leaders and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of SIG, cadres under the management, executives of the CPC SIG Committee, heads of the Party organizations of Sailing Capital, Sci-tech Capital, GP Capital, Guohe Capital and Growth FOF, as well as secretaries of SIG's grass-roots Party branches.

At the meeting, Fu Fan, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG conveyed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the report delivered by Zhao Leji, as well as the spirit of the speech delivered by Secretary Li Qiang at the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the 11th Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and the report delivered by Liao Guoxun.

Yu required that SIG should learn and comprehend the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress in depth, be guided by Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, enhance the political responsibility of Party administration and governance, strengthen and improve Party conduct construction, implement the Party conduct construction responsibility system, and keep opening up new prospects for Party conduct construction. Party organizations and leading cadres at all levels should seriously learn the spirit of the speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Secretary Li Qiang, implement the work requirements of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and make practical efforts on Party conduct construction and corruption combat in the SIG system in light of their actualities.

At the conference, Yu and Fu signed the Letter of Responsibility for Party Conduct Construction in 2018 with heads of SIG's departments, subsidiaries and fund companies, and organized the attendees to watch an excerpt of the educational documentary on Party conduct construction: On the Way-Treating Symptoms and Rooting Causes according to the schedule of "Honest Party Conduct Publicity and Education Day".
