On the afternoon of December 25, SIG organized the meeting to educate on the principles set at the 19^th CPC National Congress. Professor Zhou Jingqing, Division Chief of Research and Director of Decision-making Consultancy Department in Shanghai Party School and Shanghai Administration College, made a report theme on “learning and practicing New Party Constitution”. The meeting was chaired by the SIG Party Secretary Yu Beihua. More than 130 people attended the meeting, including the SIG top leadership, assistants administered by SIG Party Secretary and above, secretaries and members of Party Branches (General Branch) in SIG, all personnel in SIG Headquarters, intermediate assistants in SIG subsidiaries.

Professor Zhou Jingqing’s report contained three parts, namely, “the Party Constitution is the general rule followed by the entire Party”, “Party Constitution keeping abreast of the times and revisions of the Party Constitution made at the 19^th CPC National Congress”, “Learn from the Party Constitution and work as models”. His report, featured by holistic contents and strong guidance, emphasized that we should deem the Party Constitution as the rule and mirror, adhere to Party principles in our conduct, career, speeches and morality. It is quite educating and enlightening for us to comprehend the Party Constitution and implement the principles of the 19^th CPC National Congress.

As required by Yu Beihua, Party organizations of all levels and all Party members in SIG should be guided by Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the New Era. Based on the educating report made by Professor Zhou Jingqing, they should learn and practice the Party Constitution and use the Party Constitution as the basic standard to enhance their Party belief and awareness, as the basic ruler to guide the Party’s work, building and activities, establish the awareness of the Party Constitution, stay true to the mission and tasks, work as the model of Party members in their posts, and make greater contributions to the SIG reform and development, to Shanghai efforts to function as the pioneer of reform and opening up in China in the New Era, and work as the pacesetter in innovative development.
