On the afternoon of October 10, SIG convened a meeting of the CPC SIG Committee, conveying spirits of Honest Administration Work Conference for SOEs of Shanghai and raised requirements for further implementation. Members of CPC SIG Committee attended the conference, with other attendees including Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Chief Investment Officer, heads of each department and subsidiary of SIG and Secretaries of Committee for Discipline Inspection of SIG.

At the meeting, Ding Xiaoyun, Deputy Secretary of CPC SIG Committee and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of SIG, conveyed speech made by Mr. Liao Junbo, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of Shanghai, on Honest Administration Work Conference of Shanghai`s SOEs and spirits of the Opinions on the Implementation of Improving Party Conduct and Clean and Honest Administration of State-Owned Enterprises under State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration.

Yu Beihua, Secretary of CPC SIG Committee, emphasized that the Opinions on the Implementation of Improving Party Conduct and Clean and Honest Administration of State-Owned Enterprises under State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration promulgated by the CPC Shanghai Committee not only summed up effective experiences and practices in improving party style and promoting clean administration in state-owned enterprises, but also put forward new suggestions for state-owned enterprises in new conditions. Party organizations at all levels of SIG should conscientiously implement the spirit of the conference on improving the Party style and promoting clean administration in the state-owned enterprises and in accordance with the relevant requirements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Discipline Inspection and the guidance of the Shanghai SASAC, establish a responsibility system that is consist of four parts, i.e., Party Committee to take the main responsibility, Commission of Discipline Inspection to take responsibility of supervising, the Party Chief to take the primary responsibility and member of management team to take dual responsibilities for one post. It is needed to strengthen discipline while guard against risks, ensure that the discipline work is conducted throughout the whole process of the reform and development of the enterprise, and to be pushed forward together with the management target of the company so as to guide and safeguard the reform and development of SIG.
