On the morning of June, 19th, Mr. Shen Jun, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee, Chairman of SIG, met Mr. Ni Zewang, Secretary of the CPC ShenZhen Capital Group, Committee, Chairman of ShenZhen Capital Group. Mr. Fu Fan, Vice Secretary of CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG, Mr. Zhong Maojun, Chief Operation Officer, attended the meeting.
Mr. Shen Jun expressed warm welcome to Mr. Ni Zewang`s delegation team and briefed on SIG`s business concerning fund establishment and fund operation. He said that on the basis of efficient operation of Sailing Capital, GP Capital and Guohe Capital, SIG is actively preparing for the establishment of Shanghai Sci-tech Innovation Center Equity Investment Fund. In the future, SIG will be focusing on the development of Shanghai as a Sci-tech Innovation Center and the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, promoting the business development of SIG through market-oriented mechanisms.
Mr. Ni Zewang said that, under the backdrop of reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises, ShenZhen Capital Group arranged this survey to SIG and other excellent state-owned enterprises. ShenZhen Capital Group now manages several venture capital funds guided by local government, including Shenzhen Municipal Government Fund(scale: RMB 100 Billion), Jilin Province Forestry Fund(scale: RMB 100 Billion) and several others guided by city of Foshan, Dongguan and Zhaoqing, etc. More recently, the Shanghai Branch of ShenZhen Capital Group is integrating resources among branches in East-China area, hoping to enhance information exchange and business cooperation with SIG.
On the meeting, the two sides also exchanged opinions on items of cooperation in fund operation, mixed ownership reform of SOEs and compensation incentive mechanism, expecting for further cooperation. Other attendees of the meeting include heads of SIG`s Capital Operation Department and Strategic Research Department.
