To further implement the requirements set for the new round of reform of state-owned assets and state capital, to serve for SIG`s “Twin-wheel” strategy,i.e., state-owned capital operation and investment management, to meet the working requirements of Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and practical plans of SIG, and further strengthen corporate culture development of SIG, SIG held the kick-off meeting of its corporate culture development project(phase I) on May 5th. Attendees of the meeting include SIG`s executives, heads of each department and subsidiary of SIG, project leaders of Hedu Consultancy and working staffs of the corporate culture project.
Mrs. Ding Xiaoyun, Vice Secretary of CPC SIG Committee hosted the meeting and announced the name list of SIG`s corporate culture project team.
Mr. Shen Jun, Secretary of CPC SIG committee, Chairman of SIG, made a key speech. He pointed out that corporate culture is an indicator of the comprehensive capability of an enterprise, this phase of corporate culture project will be carried out from three aspects: culture that need to be inherited from the history, culture that needs to be improved based on current development needs, cultures that need to be included for future development. The project will inherit and extract the core of cooperate culture of SIG, build up SIG`s cultural concept system, to add on to the intangible assets of SIG`s reform and innovation causes and provide the company with strong cultural soft power and ideological guarantee.
Mr. Shen Jun emphasized that, in order to carry out the corporate culture project, efforts should be made in the following aspects: first is to enhance the subjective initiative, and actively cooperate with each other to carry out relevant works. Management members and cadres in charge of each department should take the lead, earnestly participate in interviews and discussions, emancipate the mindset, speak their minds, and provide the project with necessary manpower and material support. The second is that full participation by the whole company is needed to ultimately reach a general consensus. Employees in SIG are the mainstay of corporate culture project. The identifying and refining work of the corporate culture concept should be widely-solicited opinions; consensus should be made to further implement the decision-making process, and the results of project should be widely-recognized while able to withstand tests practically. Third, we should take the party-building work as the lead, give full play to SIG`s mass organizations like Trade Unions, Communist Youth League, etc. The new proposals, new statements, new concepts of General Secretary Xi Jinping`s on the party-building work and reform should be included into the corporate culture development project to make party-building work as the project`s leader and coordinator. Efforts should be made to find out various kinds of approaches for the project that is creative, operationable and implementable; roadmap should be worked out from design to action plan, between program to implementation. At the same time, we should give full play to the subjective initiative of the Trade Union members, members of the Youth League for them to actively participate in the identifying and refining work of the corporate culture concepts.
At the meeting, Mrs.Ma Haiyan, Director of the Office of the Corporate Culture Project Leading Group, briefed on SIG`s Corporate Culture Development Plan (2017-2019) and introduced the main contents of the corporate culture development project (Phase I) and the project promotion arrangements.
