On the afternoon of October 17th, Mr. Fu Fan, Vice President of SIG, met Mr. Yang Rungui, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Guangdong Yuecai Investment Stock Holding Corp., Ltd. The meeting was also joined by Mr. Zhong Maojun, Chief Operation Officer of SIG.
Mr. Fu Fan firstly gave a warm welcome to Mr. Young. He introduced the main achievements of SIGs strategic transformation in the current stage in several aspects, including the horizontal combination, vertical integration and cross-sector transactions of SIG`s invested enterprises. He also noted that SIG will further implement the general strategy of the reform of Shanghai`s state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises and strive to build a comprehensive state-owned capital operation platform.
Mr. Yang Rungui said Guangdong Yuecai Investment Stock Holding Co., Ltd. share many similarities with SIG in the course of transformation and development. And now the two companies are facing with some common opportunities and challenges against the backdrop of reform of state owned assets and state-owned enterprises. SIG, as Shanghai’s state-owned capital operation platform, has experience that’s worth learning in terms of strategic transformation and management system. Hopefully, two parties can enhance mutual communication and seek for chances of cooperation.
The two parties also shared in-depth opinions on several issues including investment decision-making procedures, management and controlling mechanism and risk-controlling model.
