SIG was awarded “China’s Model Unit of the publicity of enterprise affairs and democratic management of Shanghai” and the “WuYi Labor Medal”.

SIG was recently awarded “the model unit of democratic publicity of enterprise affairs”, which is the only one that has been awarded in Shanghai’s financial systems. Prior to this award, SIG was awarded “best 10 of publicity of enterprise affairs and democratic management of Shanghai” and the “WuYi Labor Medal”.

In recent years, the management team of SIG attaches high importance to the publicity of enterprise affairs, and emphasizes the democratic management of enterprise affairs as the key action to construct the modern corporate governance and to build a harmonious labor-capital relationship. SIG establishes and perfects the employees’ representative meeting mechanism, the collective negotiation mechanism and the employee director/supervisor system, and combines the democratic management of the enterprise with the reform, daily operation and perfection of corporate governance of the group. SIG does its best to make the publicity of enterprise affairs and the democratic management an effective platform, which promotes the scientific and democratic decision-making, enhances the operating capability, builds a harmonious labor-capital relationship, protects the legal rights of employees, enhances the construction of a clean and honest administration, proliferates the competency of the company and the internal unification. Thus make the platform built by all the employees and shared by all.

Since 2011, SIG have signed collective contracts and negotiates collectively, there has been collective negotiation meetings every year, in which the administration and labor union negotiates the base salary and medical insurance. In the process of the transfer of shares of subsidiary companies and investment projects, SIG performs democratic process and protects the legal rights of employees. SIG further optimizes the employees’ representative meeting’s working process, composes the working system of commission of mediation of disputes and democratic management commission. SIG forms the democratic management structure by various methods, including the OA system, the bulletin of SIG and bulletin board of the company. The system ensures the in-place of management’s responsibility, the deployment of administration, the supervision of discipline inspection, the initiative of labor union and the participation of employees.

This year, on the meeting of Shanghai’s publicity of enterprise affairs and democratic management, SIG was awarded “best 10 of publicity of enterprise affairs and democratic management of Shanghai in 2011-2012” and the “WuYi Labor Medal”. This is the first time that Shanghai grants such awards. Mr. Shao Yaliang, president of SIG, made a speech whose title is “Democratic management promotes harmony, and collectiveness promotes development”. SIG was one of the two enterprises making the speech.

Recommended by Shanghai and went through the publicity process, SIG was awarded the model unit by China’s Coordination team of publicity of enterprise affairs, which is an outcome of the joint effort of all levels of organization of SIG. SIG will make this award a new starting point, further deploy the spirit of the third plenary of the 18th national CPC congress, and make further efforts in promoting the scientific development of the company and the building of a harmonious enterprise by solid and innovative working and deepening of the publicity of enterprise affairs.
