To further strengthen the ideological and political building of League members, unite and guide League members in following the Party resolutely and making achievements in the new era, on the eve of Youth Day, according to the schedule of the educational practice themed "Meeting the 20th CPC National Congress, Always Following the Party, Forging into the New Journey", the CYL SIG Committee organized SIG's League members to study the century-long history of Chinese youth movements led by the CPC, to meet the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Youth League (CYL).

By Party branch, in ways such as video and online meeting, all League members of SIG studied materials such as Yuyangli, Cradle of the Chinese Youth League, Century-long History of Youth Movements and Central Group on Theoretical Study: Century-long History of Chinese Youth Movements, and watched a video entitled The Chinese Youth League Starts Here, to experience the history in which CYL united and led generations of youth in making historical contributions in the period of new democratic revolution, the period of socialist revolution and construction, the new period of reform, opening-up and socialist modernization, and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firming up their belief in always following the Party.

After the study, the attendees said over the past century, League members and youths have advanced one after another and striven to be pioneers, so as to create a youthful China and open a new, brilliant page for Chinese youth movements. "Ideals provide direction in life, and convictions determine the success of a cause". Every generation has its own long march and responsibility. Facing the current COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai, League members should stand out and charge ahead as the core forces in the fight against the epidemic, to achieve brilliant results with the marks of youth in the tough battle.

This year will see the 20th CPC National Congress. As youths in the new era, we should gain a deep understanding of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, be responsible and dedicated, devote ourselves to great development in the new era, and glow with more splendor in our dedication to the country, the people, the nation and mankind!
