On May 6, the CPC SIG Committee convened a meeting at the earliest possible time, to study the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the enlarged meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee held on May 5. Upon deliberation, the meeting made arrangements for further conveying, studying and implementing the spirit, as well as the work instructions and requirements of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC).

The CPC SIG Committee required that SIG's Party organizations at all levels and all Party members should earnestly study, comprehend and firmly implement the spirit of the meetings, unify their thoughts and actions on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, as well as the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, enhance the consciousness of maintaining political integrity, thinking in big-picture terms, following the core of leadership and keeping in alignment with the central Party leadership, stay confident in the path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping's core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole. We should gain a deep and full understanding of the principles and policies of epidemic prevention and control determined by the CPC Central Committee, firmly overcome problems such as the lack of understanding, preparations and efforts, firmly overcome contempt, indifference, self-righteousness and other mentalities, and firmly combat the words and behavior of distorting, doubting and denying China's principles and policies of epidemic prevention. We should uphold the general principle of "eliminating COVID-19 cases dynamically", fully perform the tasks of epidemic prevention and control assigned by the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, implement the prevention and control measures released by them, go all out to push forward the ten actions to eliminate COVID-19 cases, coordinate epidemic prevention and control with business development, and take on the responsibility and mission of state-owned capital and enterprises. We should vie to be speakers, demonstrators and close friends in the fight against the epidemic; Party members and executives in the frontline should endure hardships, focus closely on goals, serve as "screws" and contribute to a decisive victory against the epidemic at the grass-roots level; other Party members and executives should stay committed to their duties, assist in epidemic prevention and control, promote positive energy, combat wrong words and deeds, leverage their fortress, vanguard and exemplary roles, firm up their confidence and go all out to win the battle for the defense of Shanghai.

In forms such as CPC committee meeting and online Party branch meeting, the CPC SIG Committee and the CPC committees (Party branches) of SIG's subsidiaries instantly conveyed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, as well as the requirements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the CPC SHSASAC Committee to SIG's Party organizations at all levels and all Party members, which exchanged study experience. They said perseverance means victory. At the crucial stage of epidemic prevention and control, we should firmly implement the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, maintain a high degree of alignment with the CPC Central Committee in terms of thought and action, perform our duty to defend Shanghai, lead by example and take on heavy responsibilities on our posts and in communities' epidemic prevention, work in a solid and meticulous manner, firmly reject contempt, boredom, slackness and the lack of vigilance in work, stay vigilant against the epidemic, resolutely consolidate the hard-won results of epidemic prevention and control, continue to leverage the fortress role of grass-roots Party organizations and the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members, devote ourselves to frontline volunteer services against the epidemic, charge ahead and fight hard, so as to make contributions to winning the tough battle against the epidemic in Shanghai.
