The 72nd International Children Day fell in the special period of epidemic prevention and control. SIG's grass-roots labor unions delivered various activities, bringing together families of its staff to fight the epidemic, and make children understand the meaning of responsibility, devotion and gratitude, in a joint effort to consolidate the shield against the epidemic and win the battle for the defense of Shanghai.

SIG holds "Kids Guard Shanghai from COVID-19" Family Works Exhibition

To convey children's wish to beat the epidemic, the Labor Union of SIG held "Kids Guard Shanghai from COVID-19" Family Works Exhibition online. Families of SIG's staff have taken active part in the activity since the call for works was released. 119 children contributed a total of 136 works in the forms of calligraphy & painting, drawing, handiwork and photo, to support the fight against the epidemic and demonstrate their love during epidemic control. Glimmers of light can make a galaxy. Despite school suspension, children created a multitude of affectionate and childish works themed "fighting the epidemic", to pay highest respect to frontline medical workers and volunteers, express their admiration and praise for anti-epidemic heroes, and demonstrate their yearning for a good life after the epidemic. Painter's word: "Adjusting tactics to changes of the enemy's" is a rational attitude to beating the epidemic. Painter's word: Baymax is the most beautiful view in the fight against the epidemic. With super light clay, I made a Baymax in a protective suit performing a nucleic acid test on residents attentively.

SIG's grass-roots labor unions deliver Children's Day activities

According to SIG's plan for epidemic prevention and control, SIG's grass-roots labor unions delivered various activities online. The Labor Union of SIG's Headquarters delivered an online reading activity, to encourage staff and their children to share the wisdom and joy of reading, spread the true, the good and the beautiful amid epidemic control, and arouse positive energy in the fight against the epidemic. The Labor Union of SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. organized a video production activity under the theme of "Growing with kids amid epidemic control", calling on families of its staff to do physical exercise with children, give aesthetic and labor education to children and read with children at home, and provide volunteer services together with children, thereby enriching children's studies and life at home, building up their confidence in beating the epidemic and guarding the beautiful home together.

On Children's Day coming in this special period, families of SIG's staff helped each other, overcame the hard times together, experienced the joy of parent-child cooperation, felt the warmth of family harmony, and made children neglect neither epidemic prevention nor study and growth. The Labor Union of SIG called on SIG's staff to leverage the role of families in education, establish harmonious family relations, and unite as one to make positive contributions to a complete victory against the epidemic and the business development of SIG.
