On May 30, 2022, 2021 CVAwards lists were released, unveiling the winners of awards such as "2021 China Top VC Institutions, "2021 China Top PE Institutions" and "2021 China Top LPs". Shanghai Sci-tech Capital (SSC) was ranked among "2021 China Top 30 LPs".

As an independent third-party institution, CVInfo released "CVAwards" lists for Chinese VC and PE institutions for the 16th consecutive year. Via CVSource, through extensive surveys of investment institutions, winners were selected from over 1,000 active VC and PE institutions according to their overall score. Divided in strict accordance with standards, known for their professionalism, authoritativeness and preciseness, referred to as the benchmark for China's equity investment industry, the lists are the important basis of capital contribution for many large institutional LPs. Based on the data of investment institutions on fund raising, investment, exit and projects under management recorded between January 1 and December 31, 2021, this year's lists were worked out through standardized data processing and overall scoring by ChinaVenture Institute.

SSC is a market-oriented FoF initiated by SIG according to the deployment requirements of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Its key investors include Guosheng Group, SIPG, Guotai Junan Securities, Shanghai Trust, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, China Pacific Insurance Group, Jiading State-Owned Assets Group, etc. With the mission of serving the building of Shanghai Sci-tech Innovation Center, it has a target scale of 30 billion yuan and now has over 12 billion yuan under management.

SSC has invested in more than 60 sub-funds to date, with a total contract amount of over 170 billion yuan, covering over 1,500 enterprises. Among the invested enterprises, 61 are listed enterprises, including 37 listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. Over 100 SSC-invested enterprises plan to apply for listing in the coming year.
