July 1 marks the 101st anniversary of the founding of the CPC. The Central Group of the CPC SIG Committee on Theoretical Study held a seminar, to study Xi Jinping in Shanghai and Serving as Pioneers in Reform and Opening-up: Xi Jinping's Footprints in Shanghai. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, hosted the seminar. Members of SIG's leading body and the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of SIG attended the seminar and exchanged their study experience based on respective work practices.

From different perspectives, Xi Jinping in Shanghai and Serving as Pioneers in Reform and Opening-up: Xi Jinping's Footprints in Shanghai vividly present Xi Jinping's career during his tenure as the secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee. At the seminar, the attendees recollected General Secretary Xi Jinping's great political wisdom, broad strategic vision, outstanding leadership, diligent work and strong personal charisma during his tenure in Shanghai. They said General Secretary Xi Jinping's work imprints left in Shanghai and earnest instructions are sources of power for our work. They will follow General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions and forge ahead with his entrustment in mind.

In the discussion, the attendees agreed that the seminar was especially significant on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the founding of the CPC. We should closely integrate studying Xi Jinping in Shanghai and Serving as Pioneers in Reform and Opening-up: Xi Jinping's Footprints in Shanghai with studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches during his visit to Shanghai and his important instructions to Shanghai, with studying, promoting and implementing the spirit of the 12th CPC Shanghai Municipal Congress, and with the current work, so as to ensure improvements in thoughts, actions and effects. We should endeavor to transform study results into the vivid practice and strong impetus of driving the development, reform and innovation of SIG, efficiently coordinate the epidemic control of SIG with its business development, fulfill our annual targets, wrap up SIG's three-year action plan, formulate a new-round three-year action plan for the strategic development of SIG, and meet the 20th CPC National Congress by action.
