SIG's Leaders Visit Hotels, Commercial Buildings, Projects in Progress under SIG amid Intense Heat

Intense heat has hit Shanghai for consecutive days, sounding a high temperature alarm. On the afternoon of August 11, Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG; Guan Wei, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Vice President of SIG; and Zhou Lei, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Vice President of SIG, visited the hotels, commercial buildings and projects in progress under SIG, extending greetings to the frontline staff sticking to posts amid intense heat, and delivering heatstroke prevention supplies.

As business accommodations, Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake, Crowne Plaza Shanghai Fudan, and Sofitel Shanghai Hyland have assumed the heavy task of epidemic control due to the large number of key areas and large personnel flow. The leaders inquired about the situation of epidemic control, the staff's daily schedules and logistics support, requiring the heads of these places to continue implementing measures for epidemic control and work safety, and make all-out efforts on heatstroke prevention and labor protection amid intense heat.

At Shanghai International Fortune Center and New Shanghai International Building, the leaders talked to the staff, inquiring about work shift and the implementation of heatstroke prevention measures, requiring them to tighten epidemic control and implement epidemic control measures, and reminding them to alternate work with rest and schedule work in a scientific manner.

On the construction site of SIG Building, SIG inquired about the progress, quality control and work safety of the project, expressing appreciation for their diligent efforts and responsibility of sticking to posts without fear of intense heat, asking the project leader to rationally schedule construction and rotate staff, and implement heatstroke prevention measures, to ensure the quality, construction progress and work safety of the project, and see that all the staff spend the summer safe and sound.

The visit not only delivered "coolness" to the frontline staff, but also showed SIG's concern for them. Cordial greetings and heart-warming supplies boosted the spirit of the frontline staff saying they would perform their duties and stick to their posts, work with greater enthusiasm and in higher spirits while staying safe, endeavor to make up for the time lost due to the epidemic, and contribute to the reform and development of SIG.

SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd., the Office of the CPC SIG Committee and the Department of Administration of SIG accompanied the senior executives of SIG for the visit.
