On the morning of September 7, the Central Group of the CPC SIG Committee on Theoretical Study held a workshop, to study Xi Jinping: The Governance of China IV and Outline of Xi Jinping's Economic Thought. Before the meeting, members of the leading body studied the books themselves. At the meeting, under the theme, the attendees exchanged study experience based on their own thoughts and work facts.

During the exchange, the attendees thought that Xi Jinping: The Governance of China IV, combined with the previous three volumes, fully reflects the development context scientific system and rich content of the Party's innovative theories in the new era. It is of great significance to studying and implementing Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and understanding the rich connotation of "establishing Xi Jinping's core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era". Xi Jinping's economic thought is an important part of Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, a valuable theory developed by the Party in its persistent pursuit of a road of socialist economic development, as well as a scientific guide for promoting the high-quality economic development of China and building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.

During the exchange, the attendees said we should perseveringly study Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and improve our ability to judge and understand political issues and implement political requirements through study, and convert study results into a concrete move to promote work. At present, we should fulfill the annual targets and tasks, work out a new three-year action plan, and meet the 20th CPC National Congress by action.
