To continue educating SIG's executives in Party spirit, ideals and beliefs, and further strengthen the building of a high-quality and professional executive team, SIG held the first Party spirit education training for executives in 2022 from September 22 to 24. Wu Jun, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee, attended the completion ceremony and delivered a speech. Among the 46 trainees were executives of the CPC SIG Committee and young business backbone of SIG.

With studying and implementing Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era as the main line, with a view to improving executives' awareness of Party, ability and quality, SIG set five course modules: political theories, Party history, situation and tasks, integrity education and Party spirit. With focus on studying the spirit of the 12th CPC Shanghai Municipal Congress, Xi Jinping in Shanghai, the birth process of the Party's first constitution and the new requirements of exercising Party self-governance fully and vigorously in the new era, experts and scholars were invited from Shanghai Party Institute of CPC to give lectures. By integrating the training content with the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on July 26, the trainees carried out studies and exchanges on how to further keep up spirits and fulfill SIG's three-year development plan and annual key tasks.

On behalf of the CPC SIG Committee, Wu set requirements for the trainees in three aspects. First, he hoped that they would firm up ideals and beliefs, take the lead in observing Party discipline and regulations, play a pioneering and demonstrative role, stay realistic and pragmatic, implement work and achieve results by action. Second, he hoped that they would enhance their Party spirit, improve their working ability, and well coordinate epidemic control with business development, to ensure the fulfillment of the annual targets. Third, he hoped that they would maintain a good work style, work hard and solidly, persist in reform and innovation, and transform the training results into the vivid practice of promoting the development, reform and innovation of SIG, so as to embrace the 20th CPC National Congress by action!
