On the morning of October 20, SIG held a CPC committee meeting to study the report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping to the 20th CPC National Congress on behalf of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, presided over the meeting. Present were members of the CPC SIG Committee, as well as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer of SIG.

The meeting focused on the report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping. The attendees agreed that the report, which comprehensively summarized the work over the past five years, as well as the great transformation over the past ten years of the new era, systematically expounded the missions and tasks of the CPC on the new journey and in the new era, conceived the targets, tasks and general policies for advancing the cause of the Party and the country in the coming five years and beyond, and came up with new ideas, new strategies and new measures, is a Marxist programmatic guideline for us to achieve the second centenary goal of building a modern socialist country in all respects and advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts.

The meeting stressed that we should unify our thoughts and actions on the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, deeply understand high-quality development is the primary task of building a modern socialist country in all respects, focus on serving major national and municipal strategies, earnestly study and implement the work ideas and specific measures of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress based on the facts of the construction of a financial holding group and state capital investment operation platform, and promote high-quality development in the reform and development of SIG. With focus on the general requirements of Party building in the new era, we should unswervingly advance full and rigorous Party self-governance, stick to the distinct orientation of primary-level governance, and further improve the work quality of primary-level Party organization construction, thus developing primary-level Party organizations into strong fortresses for the Party's leadership.

The meeting required that SIG's Party organizations at all levels should take studying, publicizing and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress as an important political task at present and in the next period, and organize full-coverage and multi-level studies and education for all executives and staff through self-study, central group workshop, guidance report and special training. We should strengthen publicity and reporting, and duly publicize the distinctive experience and work highlights of SIG's Party organizations at all levels in studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, so as to create a strong atmosphere of study and publicity. We should integrate studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress with fulfilling the annual work, promoting the successful completion of the current three-year action plan and conceiving a new three-year action plan, and convert study results into the strong impetus for promoting the development, reform and innovation of SIG.
