Set up in 2006, guided by People's Daily, organized by people.cn, the "People's CSR Awards" is China's earliest and most influential Internet CSR awards that are recognized by the industry as an important yardstick for CSR performance in China. As an authoritative, popular and credible event, the awards aim to promote CSR performance and outstanding enterprises' experience in CSR performance, spread positive energy, tell stories of CSR performance, guide the society in constantly enhancing the sense of social responsibility, help enterprises grow stronger, and promote the high-quality development of the economy and society.
Since the sign-up for the 17th People's CSR Awards started, more than 600 cases of CSR performance have been received from 298 enterprises in various industries. According to the evaluation measures, the winners of five awards, including the Rural Rejuvenation Award, were selected after early procedures such as sign-up and entry collection, primary screening of materials, online display and expert review. Guided by the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and SIG, SSAM has made persistent contributions to the national strategies of poverty alleviation and rural rejuvenation, shown its strong sense of responsibility of serving major strategies and shouldering the mission as a state-owned enterprise, and eventually won the Rural Rejuvenation Award.
