SIG's External Directors Conduct Survey on SIG's IT and Digitalization Work

    On March 21, Ge Ailing, Yu Liping and Ren Peng, external directors of SIG, conducted a survey on the IT and digitalization work of SIG. Liu Xinyi, President of SIG; Guan Wei, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SIG; Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Director of the Department of Administration (Board Office) of SIG, participated in the survey.

    The Department of Administration of SIG delivered a detailed report on the development of SIG's IT work, its current work management framework and technical architecture, the coverage and operation of its core information system, as well as its future work plan and direction.

    The external directors fully recognized SIG's efforts on IT construction and digital transformation, requiring that SIG should align its IT and digital work with the requirements of superior authorities and the management standards of world first-class enterprises, well connect the top-level design of digital transformation with future maintenance and operation, constantly enhance the awareness of digital management, and accelerate the digital transformation of business and management, to fully digitalize business, unblock all processes, and keep risks under control.

    Liu said that digital transformation and IT construction is an important basis of improving operation and management efficiency. Based on the external directors' opinions and suggestions, with a focus on the development of a financial holding group, and the "dual engine" strategy of state capital operation and investment management, SIG will constantly improve the levels of IT and digitalization, enhance risk prevention, and give full play to the role of digitalization in empowering SIG's innovations and changes in operation and management.

    During the visit, the external directors exchanged ideas with SIG's leaders on the features and development bottlenecks of SIG's digitalization work, the development of its investment system, its future strategies and other issues.
